1911 census for 158 Great Francs St Birmingham Records the Brookes family. they are Agnes, a widow, aged 38, born in Black Heath with her daughters Agnes (13), Elsie(9), and Minnie(6)and sons George John (12), Ernest, (10). All these childrem were at school. Albert, her youngest son (1) was not. All were born in Birmingham. Also recorded was a boarder, Thomas Brookes, aged 48, and a baker born in Birmingham.
Card is celebrating a Brother's Birthday and is signed 'Minnie' (presumably Ernest's sister).
